Laboratorio on suunnattu tanssin ja liikkeen ammattilaisille sekä elokuvantekijöille.
Intensiivinen kolmipäiväinen laboratorio perehdyttää osallistujat tanssielokuvan lajityyppiin ja törmäyttää tanssin ja elokuvan ammattilaiset. Laboratorio pitää sisällään johdannon tanssielokuvagenreen ja elokuvakerronnan perusteisiin, sekä toteutamme lyhytelokuvina syntyneitä ideoita.
Vetäjinä toimivat ohjaaja-koreografi Kati Kallio ja ohjaaja Jukka Rajala-Granstubb. Laboratorio alkaa perjantaina 15.6. kl.16:00 Osallistumismaksu 80€
Tanssijat ja liikkeen ammattilaiset tuovat mukanaan kolme minuuttia omaa liikemateriaaliaan aiheesta "My favourite moves".

DANSFILMLABORATORIE
Laboratoriet riktas till dans- och rörelseproffs och filmmakare.
Det intensiva tre-dagars laboratoriet ger deltagarna en inblick i dansfilmens genre och sammanfogar dans- och filmproffs. Laboratoriet innehåller en inledning till dansfilmgenren, grunderna i bildberättande, och utmanar deltagarna att utforska dansfilmens möjligheter via praktiska övningar.
Dans- och rörelseproffs tar med tre minuter av material kring ämnet ”My favourite moves”.
Det är önskvärt att filmmakarna tar med egen utrustning.
Regissör-koreograf Kati Kallio och filmregissör Jukka Rajala-Granstubb leder laboratoriet. Konstverkstaden Malaktas inspirerande atmosfär och konstnärscommunity utgör ramarna för experimentering och kreativt samarbete.
Laboratoriet börjar fredagen 15.6 kl. 16:00. Deltagaravgift 80€.

Mind – movement - story dance film laboratory 15.-17.6.2012
The dance film laboratory invites to an investigation of movement through film.
The laboratory is aimed at professionals working with dance and movement and film makers.
The intensive three day laboratory introduces the participants to the dance film genre and allows dance and film professionals to interrelate. The point of departure is to allow the participants to find a synthesis of the two art forms. The laboratory includes an introduction to the dance film genre, the fundamentals of film narration, and it challenges the participants to investigate the possibilities of dance film through practical tasks.
Dancers and movement professionals will bring with them three minutes of movement material based around the subject “My favourite moves”.
It is desired that film makers bring their own equipment.
The laboratory is led by director-choreographer Kati Kallio and film director Jukka Rajala-Granstubb. The inspiring atmosphere and community of artists at Art Factory Malakta creates a fertile framework for experimentation and creative collaborations.
The laboratory starts on Friday 15.6 at 16:00.
